Launching of the book “Jerusalem in the Mamluk Era: History and Architecture”

The Yabous Cultural Centre, the Taawon Foundation, and the Palestinian Museum invite you to attend the launch of the book “Jerusalem in the Mamluk Era: History and Architecture” by Dr. Nazmi Al-Ju’beh, in conversation with Dr. Yusuf Natsheh, Director of the Jerusalem Studies Center at Al-Quds University. The event will be accompanied by an exhibition titled “Mamluk Jerusalem,” inspired by the book’s chapters, showcasing key landmarks of Jerusalem during that era through a collection of photos, maps, and architectural plans.

The book was published by the Taawon Foundation, implemented and supervised by the Jerusalem Old City Revitalisation Programme, and funded by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development.
Following its launch at the Palestinian Museum in Birzeit, the Yabous Cultural Centre is hosting this exhibition and book launch in Jerusalem, with additional events planned in other Palestinian cities.
