Young Armenians with deep roots in Jerusalem work to preserve their land

An Israeli settler group is attempting to take over Cow’s Garden, a key piece of land within Jerusalem’s Armenian Quarter. Armenian community members, led by young advocate Djernazian, are defending the land through legal channels and raising awareness globally, including meetings with U.S. and UN officials. Djernazian emphasizes the Armenian community’s deep historical presence in Jerusalem and urges international churches and organizations to support the preservation of Christian communities in the city. Despite emotional and financial tolls, he remains hopeful for a just, legal resolution.
