Occupation forces compel Jerusalem resident to demolish his home in Silwan
Israeli occupation authorities on Tuesday forced a Palestinian resident to self-demolish his home in Wadi Hilweh in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan. The occupation authorities coerced Mohammed Khalid Qaraeen to tear down his house in the Wadi Hilweh area of Silwan to avoid paying exorbitant fines, potentially hundreds of thousands of shekels, if the occupation municipality carry out the demolition on its own.
