Moroccan-Funded Emergency Initiative Supporting Health and Education in Jerusalem

Jerusalem – On Tuesday, the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ), in partnership with the Moroccan Association for the Support of Reconstruction in Palestine, launched an emergency campaign to support the health and education sectors in Jerusalem amid the city’s challenging conditions. In this context, the Agency delivered a shipment of tablets to the Directorate of Education in Al-Ram, north of Jerusalem, to support the continuity of the educational process, which has been disrupted in the city. It also provided first aid kits to neighborhood committees in Jerusalem’s Old City, which has been under lockdown for more than three weeks due to events in the Middle East. These kits include first aid supplies for emergency and urgent situations, including masks, sterile medical bandages, gauze, cotton, tissues, instant cold packs, medical “gauze rolls,” in addition to other items. Samir Jibril, Director of Education in Jerusalem, expressed his sincere gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, and to the Moroccan people for their unwavering support of Jerusalem and its residents, as well as their continued commitment to ensuring students’ right to education and strengthening the resilience and continuity of schools and universities.
