Jordan condemns Israel’s seizure of Greek Orthodox Patriarchate land in occupied East Jerusalem
AMMAN, June 20, 2026 (WAFA) – Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs has condemned the Israeli authorities’ seizure of land belonging to the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate in the town of Silwan in occupied East Jerusalem, describing the move as a blatant violation of international law, international humanitarian law, and the historical and legal status quo.
