Foundation Stone Laid for the Aboud Bulk Water Connection Point – A Strategic Step Toward Achieving Water Security and Promoting Sustainable Development in Palestine
Under the patronage and presence of H.E. Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa, and with the participation of H.E. Head of the Palestinian Water Authority Dr. Ziad Mimi, H.E. Governor of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Dr. Laila Ghannam, EU Representative in Palestine Mr. Alexander Stutzmann, Deputy Consul General of France in Jerusalem Mr. Romain Laflaux, and Head of Aboud Village Council Mr. Elias Aazar, the foundation stone was laid today for the Bulk Water Supply Connection Points Project – Aboud Connection Point, one of the strategic projects aimed at developing the Palestinian water sector and strengthening national water security, where the first phase of the project costs 30.75 million euros, funded by the European Union and the French Development Agency (AFD).
