East Jerusalem Education Report
Classroom shortages, thousands of students dropping out, and deep funding disparities: Ir Amim’s annual education report reveals the continued neglect and discrimination within East Jerusalem’s education system, alongside measures aimed at deepening Israeli control over it. The data underpinning the report was provided by the Jerusalem Municipality only after significant delay and following a Freedom of Information petition filed by Ir Amim. Even now, the information remains incomplete. We are currently awaiting the missing data as part of the ongoing legal proceedings.
