In light of the ICJ advisory opinion, the Shehadeh family of 15 faces the threat of forcible eviction from their home in Batan al-Hawa, Silwan, within the next ten days. On July 14, they received an eviction notice from the Enforcement and Collection Authority, ordering them to leave their home within 20 days. If they do not comply, the family may be forcibly removed starting August 4, with the eviction potentially taking place over the following 14 days.
