QUDSI-R4R Project: Rehabilitation for Revitalization Quality Urban Development and Sustainable Interventions for Jerusalem’s Old City We are pleased to announce the start of registration for a training course titled "Reinforcing and Strengthening Historic Buildings in Emergencies - First Aid," part of the QUDSI-R4R project funded by the European Union and managed by UN-Habitat, with implementation by the Jerusalem Old City Rehabilitation Program at the Palestinian A.M. Qattan Foundation. Target Audience: Architects, engineers, and professionals in architectural preservation from Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza. Location: Online via Zoom Duration: 9 training sessions (3 hours each) from March 16, 2025, to April 8, 2025 Course Content: This course will cover essential principles of historic building preservation, emergency measures after disasters, and advanced strengthening techniques, with case studies. Fees: Free Certification: Participants will receive a certificate from the Palestinian A.M. Qattan Foundation upon completing the course.
