Dar Al-Consul (DAC) is a newly established cultural, educational, and community center located within a restored heritage complex in Jerusalem’s Old City. The site is owned by the Custody of the Holy Land (CTS) and operated in partnership with Al-Quds University (AQU) under a joint governance structure. This governance framework is led by a Board of Directors composed of representatives from CTS and AQU and other new strategic partners foreseen, as well as with temporary observers from UN-Habitat and the European Union (EU). The board serves as the highest authority for strategic oversight, institutional direction, and operational decision-making. The General Manager reports directly to the Board and is responsible for implementing its strategic vision and priorities.
