Funded traineeships for young graduates at the EU Office of the European Union Representative to West Bank & Gaza Strip, UNRWA – Political, Press and Information Section

Are you a young graduate interested in international relations? Are you curious to learn more about work of a diplomatic mission and how the EU Office represents EU interests and values in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and Gaza and vis-à-vis Palestinians? We offer: Traineeships of up to 6 months in 2026 within the Political, Press and Information Section (PPI) of the Office of the European Union Representative, subject to availability of the budget. The tentative start date is March or October 2026. As part of its technical assistance work, the Office follows up on the political, economic and social situation on the ground, including with regard to international and humanitarian law and EU policies and priorities. In close coordination with headquarters and the EU Delegation in Tel Aviv, it maintains close working relations with relevant local and international stakeholders on issues related to occupied Palestinian Territory and the Middle East peace process. It analyses and assesses relevant developments in order to develop, support, implement and advise on programming and policy-making. Its communication and public diplomacy activities support the work of the EU in engaging with the Palestinian public and disseminating messages on relevant EU policies, opportunities and positions.
