The use of AI in military operations and surveillance is raising significant concerns about human rights and international law. Microsoft and Google have been implicated in providing AI technologies to the Israeli military, which were used to target and kill Palestinians in Gaza. Israeli surveillance technology, developed on Palestinians, is also marketed globally, including for monitoring refugees and political dissidents. In the occupied Palestinian territories, AI aids in implementing apartheid-like conditions, particularly in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, where Palestinians face intense monitoring and control.
