The Yabous Cultural Centre in Jerusalem recently hosted a vibrant bazaar on August 17, 2024, featuring local artists and craftspeople showcasing handmade products. The event is part of the Jerusalem Folk Arts Festival, aiming to revive Palestinian cultural life. Artists like Nehaya Helo Abu Khater shared their unique jewelry, while Issa Qawasmi presented his Palestinian-inspired textiles and a self-published book on Jerusalem. The day also included the first-ever Open Mic event in Jerusalem, providing a platform for emotional expression amid the ongoing Gaza conflict.
