Housing, Land and Property (HLP) Advisor

This position responds to the recognized need for a coordinated and coherent approach to Housing, Land and Property (HLP) issues in support of humanitarian response, recovery, and reconstruction planning in the Gaza Strip, and the as well as the evolving land tenure challenges in the West Bank. Given the central role of HLP in the response, the position is intended to serve as an overarching support function for all stakeholders involved, in line with the priorities and workstreams outlined in the UN Strategic HLP Framework for the Gaza Strip while also supporting efforts to address the West Bank’s complex land-related administrative environment. UNOPS is supporting UN-Habitat with the selection process for this position. The selected candidate will be a UN-Habitat personnel, under the full responsibility of UN-Habitat and UNOPS will solely be responsible for contract management
