Occupation authorities compel Jerusalemite father and son to self-demolish their home in East Jerusalem
JERUSALEM, April 12, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities on Sunday evening forced two Palestinian citizens to carry out the self-demolition of their home in the town of Jabal al-Mukaber, southeast of occupied Jerusalem. According to the Jerusalem Governorate, residents Ali Sawahreh and his son, Mohammed, were compelled to demolish their own home to avoid the heavy fines and demolition costs imposed by the Israeli authorities.
