It starts every morning in front of the Church of the Ascension. \nThe olive trees’ yield belongs to Talitha Kumi\, the Protestant German school abroad in Talitha Kumi. Only a few of the students there have a Jerusalem ID and can help with the harvest; all the others don’t receive a permit to come to Jerusalem. Those who help with the harvest support the work of the school\, which bears the dove of peace in its logo. \nWater and a lunch snack will be provided.
