DESCRIPTION:We harvest olives from Thursday to Saturday:\nThu: 9am-3pm | Fri: 9am-3pm | Sat: 8am-2pm. \nWe’re very happy to have volunteers to help! It starts every morning in front of the Church of the Ascension. \nThe olive trees’ yield belongs to Talitha Kumi\, the Protestant German school abroad in Talitha Kumi. Only a few of the students there have a Jerusalem ID and can help with the harvest; all the others don’t receive a permit to come to Jerusalem. Those who help with the harvest support the work of the school\, which bears the dove of peace in its logo. \nWater and a lunch snack will be provided. Please bring gloves\, a hat\, and sunscreen if possible. \nPlease register with Pastor Ines Fischer \, pastorin@evajerusalem.org
